The Harding women's golf team shot a 29-over 317 in the first round of the GAC Golf Championships in Hot Springs, Arkansas on Sunday. Henderson State leads the tournament after shooting a 6-over 294 to hold a 16-stroke lead over second place Arkansas Tech.
The Lady Bisons had three golfers shoot a 6-over 78 and finish the day tied for tenth.

Abbey Bryan, All-GAC Honorable Mention selections sank two birdies in their rounds while second teamer
Brenda Sanchez made one to finish Sunday.
Julie Fierro finished Sunday in 32
nd with an 11-over 83.
JoJo Perry finished the team scoring for the Lady Bisons with a 12-over 84 and tied for 33
rd.
Jacqueline Klemm of Arkansas Tech leads the tournament with a 3-under 69, three strokes better than second place.
The Lady Bisons will look to move up the leaderboard on Monday's Round 2, teeing off at 8 a.m.
