Harding Women Compete at Ole Miss and Southern Arkansas

SEARCY – Harding women's track and field was in action at two meets this weekend – the Ole Miss Classic and the Dan Veach Invitational, hosted by Southern Arkansas.
The highlights from Ole Miss:

Sophomore Cella Nguema placed sixth in the 100-meter hurdles in a provisional 14.17 seconds … her time ranks sixth in D2.
Senior Anna Kay Clark placed fifth in the javelin with a provisional throw of 42.48m (139-4) … she ranks third in D2 with a season-best time of 45.62m (149-8).
Sophomore Josie Parks won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:25.49.
Freshman Leila Ngapout placed fourth in the 100 meters in 12.03 seconds.
Junior Veagen Jones was fifth in the 800 meters in 2:20.58.
Freshman Hanna Onufriieva placed second in the triple jump with a mark of 11.90m (39-0.5).

The highlights from Southern Arkansas:

Freshman Juliah Rodgers won the 1,500 meters in 5:01.59.
Senior Sydnee Parker won the 400-meter hurdles in 1:11.35.
Sophomore Noelle King placed second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 12:40.17.
Senior Jessica Davis was third in the discus at 34.76m (114-0) and freshman Carley Hall was fourth in the shot put at 11.52m (37-9.5).
