SEARCY – The Harding men's basketball team looks to continue its unbeaten start to the season Thursday as it hosts Lambuth in the Bisons' home opener. Tip-off at the Rhodes Field House is at 7:30 p.m.

10 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT TONIGHT'S GAME
1. Harding is coached by Jeff Morgan, who is in his 18th season as head coach of the Bisons. Morgan has a 291-193 record in his time at Harding. Lambuth is coached by Kevin Burton, in his seventh season as head coach of the Eagles.
2. Harding enters the game 2-0 after win both games at the Christian Brothers Conference Challenge last weekend in Memphis. The Bisons defeated LeMoyne-Owen (85-81) and Lane (79-62). Lambuth is playing its season opener against Harding.
3. Harding has won 34 consecutive home openers, dating back to the 1975-76 season. Ironically, the last team to defeat the Bisons in a home opener was … Lambuth. The Eagles upended the Bisons 73-64 on Nov. 21, 1975.
4. Early in the season, Harding is led in scoring by senior guard Stephen Blake, who is averaging 15.5 points per game. Blake also has 11 assists and only one turnover through two games.
5. Senior forward Kevin Brown connected on 81.8 percent of his shots in the first two games, shooting 9-of-11 from the field.
6. Harding scored 91 points in the first half of its first two games and only 62 points in the second half.
7. Lambuth an NAIA team located in Jackson, Tenn. The school is attempting to move to NCAA Division II and join the Gulf South Conference.
8. Harding and Lambuth have played four times. Lambuth won both meetings during the 1975-76 season, and Harding won both meetings during the 1992-93 season.
9. Harding went 11-3 at home last season and won its last five at the Rhodes Field House.
10. Harding's game with Lambuth is its only game at home in the month of November. Harding plays five of its first six games away from Searcy. It's next action is a road game Saturday at Northeastern State in Tahlequah, Okla.
